Villa Revolta Lake Como Italy

We restored life back into the interior of a period villa just outside Tremezzina on the shores of Lake Como by researching the period features and using the local church as point of reference after discovering the same original details. We then embarked on a journey working closely with local craftsmen and carpenters to carefully restore the original beauty of the space. Discovering original frescoes, restoring terrazzo floors, the sculpted doors, fireplaces and moldings.

After reconstructing the backbone of the villa we added bare essentials in white: a minimalistic kitchen, slim bathrooms and clever wardrobe cupboards. As a grand style signature we placed a Last Supper Table in the dining room its elements inspired by the terrazzo floor: white, dark grey and gold leaf.
